Terms & Conditions

Studio rules:

- don’t wear perfume to class
- leave shoes at the entrance
- turn cell phones off inside the shala
- men wear shirts
- arrive 10 minutes before start of the class
- upon arrival, register for the class you are taking
- fill out the release form before starting your first class

Studio class packages:

- class packages are valid for one month from date of purchase
- class packages are non-refundable and non-transferable
- pay for packages or single classes upon arrival to class
- payment method: cash in USD or MXN

Medical:

- tell your teacher about any injuries or health concerns prior to class
- notify your teacher about pregnancy prior to class
- consult a doctor if you are pregnant or have any doubts about your capabilities in yoga class
- yoga practice doesn’t replace medical care

Private class policies:

- date, time, duration of the class will be confirmed through e-mail
- the name and contact info of your teacher will be confirmed through e-mail
- to secure a reservation a deposit between 35% and 100% of the total price is required.
- payment method: Paypal or bank transfer
- cancellation and re-scheduling at least 24 hours before scheduled class
- cancellation or re-scheduling within 24 hours before scheduled class will be 100% charged 

Refund Policy: 

Notification of withdrawal from a course or program must be made by personal contact via phone with Arielle no later than 30 days prior to the start of a session. All Yoga By The Sea Teacher Training students must complete a waiver/release form and send back to Arielle at time of registration. Deposits are not refundable. All refunds are at the discretion of the management. Often, payments can be applied to future yoga classes or Yoga By The Sea Vacations. Deposits and payments are non-transferable. Please contact Arielle Thomas Newman for details.  A reminder: It’s always a good idea to purchase travel insurance when you book your flights.
